Gym Launch and Summer BBQ: The launch of the Club Gym and Summer BBQ will take place on Friday 17th August.
Senior Hurling: Well done to the Claypipe sponsored senior hurlers on their Championship win versus Athleague on Saturday evening, 4th August. Thanks to all who came out and supported the team. Final score St. Dominics 1-17 Athleague 1-16. The team are now through to a quarter final scheduled for Saturday 11th versus Oran in Athleague at 5pm.

Ladies Football: Training continues for our U-6, U-8 and U-10 girls on Saturday with details of upcoming games to be sent out as usual. Well done to our minor ladies who enjoyed a comprehensive win over Padraig Pearses in Round 1 of their Championship on Wednesday, 1st August. They play St. Faithleachs next. The Roscommon Leisure Zone sponsored Junior ladies play St. Barrys on Sunday 19th August.
Minor Hurling: Well done to the Roscommon U-14 hurlers, they travelled to Kiltale hurling club in Co. Meath on Saturday, 4th August where they played Kildare, Leitrim and Offaly, winning all their games. St. Dominics were represented by A. Hoare, C. McLaughlin, S. Kilcline, C. Lyons, N. O’Connor and S. Laurence. Our younger hurlers at U-8 and U-10 played in the Oran blitz on Saturday, 4th August. They represented the Parish with great pride and desire to win. Our U-10 team are undefeated all year. Thanks to our players and to all the parents, coaches and others who help out with these amazing young men. Training continues every Wednesday at 6pm. Our U-12 hurlers are at home to Four Roads on Wednesday, 8th August, throw in 7pm. After a short break the U-14 Hurling league resumes with the team away to Four Roads on Friday 10th August, throw in 7pm. Finally, the U-16 hurlers are away to Athleague/Tremane in Round 2 of their Championship on this Wednesday, 8th August, throw in at 7pm
Minor Football: U-16 Championship: Team played away to St. Croans Sunday morning, 29th July. St Croans 2-04 St. Dominics 5-16. Our U-14’s footballer’s played St. Aidan’s at home in the 3rd Round of the Championship Thursday evening, 26th July coming out on top with a good win. The St Dominic’s U-10s participated in the St. Brigid’s blitz on Saturday, 28th July, in Kiltoom. It was a great event and enjoyed by all.
