U-12’s
Congratulations to our Under 12 Hurlers who won the Connacht Under 12 Ground Hurling Blitz in Padraig Pearses on Saturday 21st May.They had victories over Padraig Pearses, Oran, Easkey (Sligo)and Castle Gaels from Charlestown Mayo.
Well done to all the players and to their Managers and coaches, Vincent Pierse, Noel Dervan, Pat Byrne and Joe Connaughton.

Junior Hurling
St Dominics beat Roscommon Gaels last Tuesday evening 3-11 to 0-5. St Dominics play Oran on Tuesday evening at 8pm in Knockcroghery pitch. All players are to be at the pitch at 7.30.
Cash for Clobber
The Cash for Clobber fund raising idea that the club has embarked on is continuing. Anyone can deliver bags to the club house during training times. You do not need the Cash for Clobber bags you can use normal refuse sacks if you wish.
Ladies Football
Adult/Minor
Adult/MinorTraining continues on Fri at 6:45pm. Can all girls attend as the Championship is about to start as is the Minor competition which this year is starting in July.
Under 14
The Under 14s have started their campaign for 2011 with two wins out of two. Kilmore travelled to Knockcroghery last Sunday. The game was one of two halves with Kilmore the stronger in the first half and St.Dominics having to dig deep in second to secure victory. Training continues every Tues at 6:30pm and we would ask that all girls attend training as we have just two matches left before the Summer break.
Under 12
training continues on Tues evenings at 6:30pm. Our next game is against St.Brigids in the Div 1 Q-Finals. More details at training. We have entered the Under 12 Ladies Gaelic for Community Games. We would ask that all attend training on Tues. Games will be coming up shortly.
Under 8 / 10s
Training continues every Tuesday at 6:30pm. There is a huge interest this year which is great to see. There will be a number of blitzes organised this year so can all please attend training.
Senior Football
Our Senior Footballers played St Michaels in Cootehall last Sunday. After a poor start they came out winners by 1 point with a scorline of 0-8 to 1-4. Mark Miley made an important penalty save in the frist half. Conor Fallon was the best player on the pitch on the day with a scoring tally of 7pts.
St Dominics are out next Sunday at 3 o’clock in the Senior League at home against St Fathleachs.
Minor Football
Minors
Minors are on a break until after the Leaving Cert exams when training will re-commence for the Championship.
Under 16
Training continues every Wednesday at 7pm. No matches until after the Junior Cert
Under 14
Dominics play Strokestown away on Thursday 26th at 7pm in the next round of the Division 1 League.
U12s, U10s, U8s
Football training continues Sundays 12:30 to 1:30pm. All are welcome.
Congratulations
The club would like to congratulate Shaun McGloin and Anthony O’Riordan who won 1st and 2nd place respectively in the U-16 Puc Fada 2011 competition. Both will go on to represent Roscommon in the Connacht U-16 Puc Fada competition in Tooreen, Mayo at the end of the month. Well done lads.
