St Dominics would like to wish the very best of luck to its members representing both club and county in next Sunday’s (23rd January) Scór na nÓg Connaught Final in Castlebar! Your support for these talented youngsters would be greatly appreciated. We have arranged a bus to travel, which is full – but would consider a second bus if interest is there. Presentation Night
St Dominics Ladies Football, Camogie and Minor Hurling clubs held a very successful Presentation Night in Culleen Hall on Sunday last. Ollie Canning was special guest on the night and Enon Gavin and Caroline Connaughton assisted with the presentations. Ann and Brendan Hanly presented the Player of the Year awards. Paddy Kilduff and Rosbowl are sponsor of the Ladies Football and Camogie respectively and Molloys Pharmacy are overall sponsors of the club.
Camogie
St Dominics County Camogie champions team were presented with their medals in Gleesons on Saturday night last. Special guest on the night was Seamus Qualter, Roscommon senior hurling manager, Michael O’Connor of Rosbowl who is main sponsor of the team and Geraldine Beattie-Greene who represented the Club Executive. The girls will compete in the Senior Championship this year and the club are delighted that both Timmy Dawson and Sean Cox will again be in charge.
