Health and Wellbeing: As part of the GAA’s Health and Wellbeing initiative St. Dominics has formed a committee under the direction of the club’s Health and Wellbeing Officer, Tommy Fallon. The group held a very successful launch night on Thursday night last, March 12th in Culleen Hall Knockcroghery. Emmet Haughian, the GAA’s National Health and Wellbeing Coordinator and Conor Cusack, former Cork hurler and GPA Positive Mental Health Advocate spoke at the event and officially launched the club’s policy. Ladies Football: U16 ladies played an outstanding game away to Clann na nGael last Wednesday 11th March final score Clan 3-3 to St. Dominics 2-8. We next play St. Faithleach’s. Training continues for our minor and junior ladies on Friday evenings. Our next game in the adult league takes place on St.Patrick’s Day March 17th away to St.Ciaran’s.
